Kyle Richards carries $100K purse as she meets up with estranged husband Mauricio Umansky for lunch
Kyle Richards carried a pricey accessory during a lunch outing with estranged husband Mauricio Umansky and two of their daughters on Thursday. The 56-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star toted a turquoise, crocodile Hermès Birkin bag with a $127,000 price tag. She teamed the standout piece with a printed blue and white blouse and flared, light wash jeans. Her look was rounded out with open-toe black heels that flashed her dark pedicure. Meanwhile, the 54-year-old real estate broker, from whom Kyle split in 2023, was casually dressed black joggers, a white T-shirt, black jacket, and a backwards red hat. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Kyle and Mauricio were joined by Kyle's firstborn child from her marriage to ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie, 36-yer-old Farrah Aldjufrie. Farrah wore a ribbed yellow sweater, wide-leg jeans, and beige sneakers while sporting dark sunglasses. Also with them was their 25-year-old daughter Sophia, who was fashionable in a strapless black dress with a flared maxi skirt. She rounded out the on-trend summery look with black leather ballet flats and black sunglasses. At the end of the family lunch at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills, Mauricio and Kyle shared a friendly hug. Missing from the scene were their two other daughters, 17-year-old Portia and 28-year-old Alexia. Speaking with Us Weekly last October, Kyle opened up about her next steps with Mauricio. The couple announced their separation in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage, but have not yet filed for divorce. 'I don't know what the future holds right now with Mauricio and me. We love each other. So that part is easy. 'What's not easy is figuring out what's next. We're not divorced; he doesn't live here, but we're still figuring things out. On the show, people felt they were owed answers and thought I was withholding stuff — but I'm figuring it out myself,' she said candidly. Asked if fans will get more insight into the strained marriage on season 15 of RHOBH, Richards answered: 'Mau shot with me quite a bit. He'll come over for dinner and it's like nothing has changed, yet everything has changed. 'The best way I can put it is that we're family. It's easy for us to get along because we never fought. That was not an issue in our marriage; there's so much love there.' Last season on the show, the couple unpacked paparazzi photos of Umansky kissing a young woman during a trip to Mykonos, Greece. 'You know that I would never wanna do anything on purpose that would hurt you or the kids. I really am sorry for... You know, hurting you. I would never want to hurt you on purpose,' the real estate mogul said during a heartfelt scene. Richards responded, 'I know that you would never do that on purpose. I know that you did not know your picture was being taken. I don't know that the other person didn't know that.' She acknowledged that it was 'hard to see,' but added, 'We are separated and we're allowed to do what we want in this time. It's just strange, you know?'

Kyle Richards' daughter Sophia sends defiant message to her Mounjaro critics after she revealed hair loss
Sophia Umansky has defiantly hit back against critics after she admitted she was on weight loss medication Mounjaro. The star, 25, who is the daughter of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, recently admitted she began using the drug and that she even began losing hair as a result. But the star has now clapped back at those who have a bone to pick with her weight loss method of choice. Speaking with People, she denied having body dysmorphia and insisted she liked the way she looked both before and after shedding the pounds. 'I think a lot of people are saying that I have body dysmorphia and all this, and I'm like, "Actually, no. I think I'm cute both ways. I think I was cute before and I'm cute now,"' she told them on Friday at the The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season two premiere. 'There's nothing wrong with trying to feel a little bit more confident, a little bit cuter.' The star addressed the haters and her fans directly in a TikTok video posted Monday in which she hit back against comments made about her being not 'overweight enough' to try the medicine and revealed she has lost over 30 pounds. 'Apparently I broke the internet by saying that I'm on Mounjaro. I posted a video a while back about all my hair loss and I've gotten a lot of hate. I just didn't realize that being honest was so controversial. 'I've seen a lot of your comments saying that I was never overweight or I wasn't overweight enough to be on this, or I'm the reason that you or your family member can't get their prescription.' Sarcastically, she joked she was unaware she had disrupted the 'global supply chain' for the medication. 'I didn't realize that I had single handedly taken down the global supply chain. I'm so sorry. But I'm on Mounjarno because it was the right decision for me and my health. I've lost over 30 pounds. I feel better in my body, my stomach issues have improved, and I feel much more confident. That matters. Even if I didn't fit someone else's idea of what "overweight enough" looks like. 'Mounjaro's FDA approved for type 2 diabetes but it's also being prescribed safely and legally for weight management and metabolic issues and I'm not going to lay out my full medical chart here for you guys but just know that my doctor and I made this decision for good reasons.' Despite her still losing 'a ton of hair', she says it was 'worth' going on Mounjaro as it's improved her confidence. She been managing the hair loss 'with vitamins and supplements and a new routine.' The star addressed the haters and her fans directly in a TikTok video posted Monday in which she hit back against comments made about her being not 'overweight enough' to try the medicine or being the reason a loved one was unable to refill their prescription She said there should be no 'shame' for doing something that makes one feel better, whether it's therapy or botox. 'Honestly once I started being open about it, so many people I know personally started telling me that they've been on the same medication or a similar medication for a long time and I had no idea,' she said. Sophia admitted earlier this month she had been taking Mounjaro. Mounjaro, which like Ozempic is an injectable originally developed to treat diabetes, has been taken by celebrities ranging from Meghan Trainor to Whoopi Goldberg. The reality star has been taking the medication for around four months but she began experiencing hair loss after three months of use. Although hair loss is not listed as a side effect of the drug, it can be a temporary result of hormonal changes or nutrient deficiencies that come with rapid weight loss. She showed her fans footage of 'everything I brush out of my hair before the shower and everything that comes out during the shower.' The 'nepo baby' influencer theorized: 'I don't think it's a direct result of the medication. I think it's a direct result of rapid weight loss because of the medication, and not eating enough vitamins, protein, all that kind of stuff.' Sophia also offered her fans a glimpse of some of the measures she has been taking to 'not be bald,' such as using shampoo and conditioner meant to treat hair thinning. She ordered a jar of OMI hair growth peptides and has been ingesting four tablespoons of collagen every morning, plus Grüns vitamins for gut health. Viewers leapt into the comments section with reactions like: 'Why are you on Mounjaro? You are SUPER thin!' and: 'Why are you on this medication?' 'This is wild. She was never over weight to begin with,' observed another TikTok user, urging Sophia's mother: 'Kyle check in on your daughter.' Another scolded Sophia: 'You're a young girl promoting anorexia essentially. You shouldn't be doing this to your body. You don't need it. You're enough and pretty.' However Sophia also had many defenders who praised her for her 'honesty' in discussing her Mounjaro use and hair problems.

Kyle Richards' daughter Sophia hits back at criticism over weight-loss drug use
"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards' daughter, Sophia Umansky, is sharing why she decided to speak publicly about her use of the weight-loss drug Mounjaro. "If you're honest about things, people can't even judge you or hate on you because you said it yourself," Umansky told People. "You're the one that told everyone, you're owning it, so anything anyone else has to say, it's like, 'OK, well, I told you that. I'm owning it.' I think it's fine. And I always say I'm on Mounjaro. I obviously talk to a doctor." Mounjaro is an FDA-approved prescription drug which is commonly prescribed to people diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. More recently, it has become a popular weight-loss drug, as it reduces appetite. The reality star's daughter sparked backlash when she shared in a TikTok video that she experienced hair loss as a side effect from taking the drug, with many commenting she shouldn't be on the drug to begin with. "People who are telling me that I don't need to be on it, they don't know what they're talking about. They're not doctors," she said of the backlash. "And I think everyone needs to calm down and live their own lives. And honesty will get you far in life and lying is not fun. It's not good." She went on to say that her mom has always been "very supportive of whatever decisions we make as her daughters," and was definitely "trying to veer me away from getting on this medication." However, after speaking with her doctors, Richards "saw that that's the path I wanted to take, she was very supportive." "And yeah, I think a lot of people are saying that I have body dysmorphia and all this, and I'm like, 'Actually, no. I think I'm cute both ways. I think I was cute before and I'm cute now.' There's nothing wrong with trying to feel a little bit more confident, a little bit cuter," she added. "People get worked on all the time, they get filler, they get Botox, they do all different kinds of things. So if I want to feel a little cuter, why not?" In the TikTok video, Umansky explained that even running her fingers through her hair results in "piles" of it falling out, saying she's "lucky that I have so much hair," because if she didn't she would be "bald in about a week" if she continued to lose it at such a rapid pace. "People who are telling me that I don't need to be on it, they don't know what they're talking about. They're not doctors." Umansky has been featured on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" a number of times throughout its 14 seasons, as her mom has been a cast member since the start of the show in 2010. The family has shared their ups and downs throughout their time on the program, most recently including Richards and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umanksy's decision to separate after 27 years of marriage. "I've always said I didn't believe in the 'reality show curse' because my perception was that a lot of people come into this with fractures in their marriage, and then they are looking at this as a way out. That certainly was not my story," Richards told The Hollywood Reporter in January 2025. She went on to tell the outlet that she doesn't think she and Mauricio would be in this situation had their lives gone down a different path, saying, "I definitely do believe that money and fame and all that is not great for a marriage." Mauricio and Richards also share daughters Alexia, 28, and Portia, 17, and Mauricio was stepfather to Richards' daughter Farah, whom she shares with her first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.

Kyle Richards' daughter Sophia, 25, is going 'bald' after taking weight-loss drug
Sophia Umansky has experienced a "dramatic hair loss situation" and the daughter of "Real Housewives" star Kyle Richards believes it is a byproduct of shedding pounds after taking a popular weight-loss drug. Sophia, 25, revealed she has been taking the prescription drug Mounjaro for about four months. Mounjaro is a brand of Tirzepatide, an FDA-approved drug originally created to treat Type 2 diabetes but has also been found to aid in weight loss. In the past three to four weeks, the daughter of Richards and Mauricio Umansky explained, she had noticed a "dramatic" change in her hair. "I am very lucky that I have so much hair, because at the rate that I've been losing hair, I'm gonna be bald in about a week," Sophia began in a video shared to TikTok. "I'm just going to show you a quick little video of what my hair loss looks like, and this is every day," Sophia said. "And you're not even seeing the half of it." The TV personality shared clips of hair that had fallen out before, during and after showering. Sophia explained that even running her fingers through her hair pulls out "piles" of her long locks. Sophia noted that she does not think her hair loss is a "direct" result of the prescription medication, but rather a side effect from "rapid" weight loss. "I think it's a direct result of rapid weight loss because of the medication, and not eating enough vitamins, protein, all that kind of stuff," she explained. "I feel like at the beginning of starting this medication, I was just making sure I was eating enough. I wasn't really thinking about eating enough protein, enough vitamins, all that kind of stuff. So, I think because of that, I have started losing hair." Now, Sophia revealed plans to focus on her nutrition as she works to stop her hair-loss. The "Buying Beverly Hills" star shared she's eating more protein, taking more vitamins, using new hair products and adding a collagen supplement to her diet. The 25-year-old ended her video by praising the weight-loss drug. "If anyone has any questions about my experience on Mounjaro, I'd be happy to answer them," Sophia noted. "I'm very open about it, and I think it's great."
