Patatino, a Sorrento-inspired Italian restaurant is set to open inside a plush Edinburgh hotel.
The eatery will welcome customers on July 1, eight days after The Hoxton begins operating on June 23 2025 in the capital's West End.
Restaurantonline reported how the new hospitality venue will look to serve up traditional Italian meals which will include Scottish sourced ingredients, including the Eyemouth crab.
As well as offer seafood cooked over hot coals, the restaurant is expected to offer classic sourdough pizzas, delicious pasta options as well as antipasti.
Italian desserts such as tiramisu will also be on offer with Restaurantonline adding the recipe used for the sweet treat comes straight out the kitchens of Florence and Rome.

A thirst quenching cocktail and wine list will also be made available at the Edinburgh eatery.
Guests will be able to access Patatino through the Huxton hotel lobby with the interior of the restaurant described as being in the style of an Italian trattoria.

The Hoxton will be made up of 11 townhouses and will feature 214 rooms.
There's also an 'intimate' cinema, a ballroom events space.
