One dead after collision in Bamberg County
BAMBERG COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) – The South Carolina High Patrol has confirmed the death of one person in Bamberg County after a vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon.
According to Lance Corporal Brittany Glover with SCHP, the collision took place at approximately 3 p.m. on Ehrhardt Road at Thunder Road on April 23.
The incident took place as a 2006 Ford F-150 containing two occupants was traveling north on Thunder Road. A 2003 F-250, also containing two occupants, was traveling east on Ehrhardt Road. Both vehicles collided at the intersection, according to police.
One occupant of the 2006 Ford F-150 was injured and transported to an area hospital where the individual succumbed to injuries. The occupants of a 2003 Ford F-250 were not injured.
