Check out these highlights of Broncos tryout RB Travis Theis
The Denver Broncos are rounding out their 90-man roster prior to the start of organized team activities later this month, and that begins with rookie minicamp this week. The Broncos have a few depth positions to address after the draft, and one of the positions they have really tried to target is running back. One the rookie running backs attending camp on a tryout basis is South Dakota Coyotes running back Travis Theis. Theis (5-11, 215 pounds) had 187 carries for 1,172 yards and 19 touchdowns with the Coyotes in 2024. Advertisement Last fall, Theis was named a second-team AFCA All-American. Theis was South Dakota's all-time leading rusher, putting up 3,666 yards in six seasons as a collegiate player. In each of his college seasons, Theis had more rushing yards than the last. Theis had a big jump from 2023 to 2024, going from 844 yards and six rushing touchdowns to 1,172 yards and 19 touchdowns. You may not have heard of Theis, but you may want to keep an eye after watching his tape. Check out some of his greatest hits below: Related: These 25 celebrities are Broncos fans.
