Northwest Rankin softball is still in the running to make it the third straight year winning the 7A MHSAA title
In the second round of the MHSAA 7A softball playoffs Brandon host Northwest Rankin. The cougars won the first game and Brandon has to win this match to still have a chance at the state title. Both teams score runs early on in the first inning where it is tied 1-1. Northwest Rankin does win 3-2 and move on to the South State Championship, we hear from Coach Armstrong and a University of Georgia signee.
