Noche de Ciencias aims to inspire Hispanic youth in STEM education
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Noche de Ciencias is all about inspiring Hispanic youth to pursue paths in STEAM. The program is sponsored by a variety of academic, government, and industry groups from New Mexico. The goal of Noche de Ciencias is to engage K-12 students and their families about STEAM education and college options through interactive workshops and activities.
This year there will be four Noche de Ciencias events in Albuquerque.
Albuquerque Collegiate Charter School Feb. 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
South Valley Academy on March 6
Jefferson Middle School on April 10
Garfield Middle School on May 8
