Man dies after being hit by SUV on Route 301 in Charles County, police say There, firefighters located flames coming from a second-floor apartment and rescued a man who was trapped inside. DC man wanted for allegedly shooting, killing woman in Southeast: police

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A D.C. man is wanted for a shooting that left one woman dead in Southeast. The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the community's help to locate a wanted suspect. The suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Mercury Ford of Southeast, D.C. He is currently wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant for first-degreemurder while armed. On Tuesday, May 27, around 12:41 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Pitts Place, Southeast, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult woman, unconscious and not breathing, suffering from a gunshot wound. After all lifesaving measures failed, the victim was pronounced dead. The decedent has been identified as 32-year-old Tequila Parker of Southeast, D.C. Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact police.

WASHINGTON - Police are investigating a triple shooting that happened in Southeast D.C. on Memorial Day. What we know According to police, around 2:00 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 3400 block of 13th Place, Southeast. When police arrived, they found two adult males inside of an apartment suffering gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS responded and after all lifesaving measures failed, one adult man was pronounced dead on the scene. The second victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. A third shooting patient was found in the 1300 block of Savannah Street, Southeast, and was transported to an area hospital conscious and breathing for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening. What's next At this time, police are searching for a black 2021 Gensis with heavy tint and Virginia temporary tags. Police say they are still working to identify the victims and are working to determine what led up to the shooting.

What we know Police say the call came in at 10:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 4200 block of 4th Street, SE, for a report of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene, police found three victims—two adult males who were not conscious and not breathing, and one adult male who is conscious and breathing. What we don't know It's not yet known just how serious the men's injuries are but police did tell FOX 5 that homicide units have been called the scene. At this time, police are looking for a black vehicle with tinted windows in connection to the shooting. No description of any suspect(s) has been provided at this time. This is a developing story.
