Terri Clark and Paul Brandt coming to Calgary for Homecoming Tour 2.0
Canadian country music legends Terri Clark and Paul Brandt are coming to Calgary as part of an encore run of their successful 2023 Homecoming Tour. Article content Article content Homecoming Tour 2.0 will be an intimate, stripped-down concert experience spanning generations of hits, Live Nation said in the concert announcement. Article content In addition to music, Clark and Brandt will blend storytelling into the show, sharing personal reflections looking back at their successful music careers. Article content Article content 'Being on tour with Terri Clark has been a highlight of my career; it's hard to recall the last time I had so much fun,' said Brandt in the concert announcement. 'When you find a chemistry that is so natural and powerful, you just want more. The fans have spoken—the demand is there—so here we come. I can't wait to bring Homecoming Tour 2.0 to stages across Canada.' Article content Article content 'Paul and I had been friends for years, but the Homecoming Tour was our first time sharing the stage—and the magic and chemistry were beyond what we imagined,' said Clark. 'We thought it might be a one-time thing, and I was genuinely sad when it ended. I'm thrilled we get to do it again, and to go coast to coast with one of Canada's finest talents.' Article content The show kicks off in Moncton, NB on Oct. 17 with 34 dates, finishing on Dec. 1 in Cranbrook, BC. Clark and Brandt will be in Calgary at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Other Alberta locations include Medicine Hat, Bonnyville, Red Deer, Edmonton and Whitecourt. Article content Article content Terri Clark is one of Alberta's most successful musicians, having a career spanning 30 years and recently being inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. Clark is currently the only Canadian female member of the Grand Ole Opry, and has sold over five million albums. In 2024, Clark released an eight-song album, Take Two, featuring duets with superstars Kelly Clarkson, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, Lainey Wilson, Ben Rector and Cody Johnson. Article content Paul Brandt is the most awarded male Canadian country music artist in history, with his 12 career albums awarding him Album of the Year awards, gold, platinum and multi-platinum performances. Brandt's 1996 debut album 'Calm Before the Storm' sold one million albums internationally, and he was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017. The Calgary-born artist still lives in the province on The Buckspring Ranch in the foothills of Alberta's Rocky Mountains.
