Greggs announces huge menu shake-up to 20 stores with brand new item

For just £4, the sandwiches are made fresh in stores and are available in two variations. Customers can either opt for the traditional option of pulled pork with apple sauce and crispy onions in a soft corn-topped roll - which contains 469 calories. If that doesn't take their fancy, they can choose the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with Slaw, which contains 430 calories. The new sandwiches are available to order from the counter and are part of Greggs' hot sandwich deal – which includes any hot sandwich or Southern Fried Potato Wedges, with any cold drink from £5.50. Customers can also get them through delivery via Just Eat and Uber Eats, and through Click + Collect on the Greggs App in shops where the trial is taking place Alongside the new pulled pork trial, Greggs has also launched a loyalty app shake-up for this month. The limited-time offer gives customers double stamps for select purchases made between 11am and 2pm. The promotion is available across four different categories each week. This week, double stamps are available on all hot, cold and made-to-order sandwiches. From June 9 until June 15, customers can get double stamps for "Hot Snacks" and from June 16 to June 22, double stamps are available on a range of bakes. However, the offer does not include the chain's famous Sausage Roll or Vegan Sausage Roll. Finally, on the final week - from June 23 until June 29 - customers can get double stamps when they buy any ice drink. For every nine stamps collected in the category on the Greggs app, you can redeem a free menu item within that category. So under the offer, you could get two stamps for every eligible menu item, meaning you'll be able to claim the freebie quicker. The double stamps will be rewarded after scanning the Greggs App on a valid purchase in-store or after completing a click-and-collect order. If you haven't signed up for the loyalty scheme, you can do so by downloading the Greggs app and creating an account. New members can redeem a free hot drink upon registration and a free sweet treat on their birthday. The bakery chain, which has branches across the UK, kicked off a new month-long promotion on 2 June, offering customers double stamps on selected menu items when buying between 11am and 2pm. This week (June 2–8), all hot, cold and made-to-order sandwiches qualify for double stamps – including baguettes, wraps, flatbreads, burgers and rolls. Meal deal fans won't miss out either, as they'll get stamps on all eligible items in their basket, as long as their lunch falls within the promotion window. From 9 to 15 June, the spotlight turns to "Hot Snacks", while between 16 and 22 June, it's the turn of the bakery's popular range of bakes, though the famous Sausage Roll and Vegan Sausage Roll are excluded.
