Family of man killed in Nashville Halloween party shooting doubles reward for info
The family of a man killed in a shooting outside a Halloween party is offering a $5,000 reward, bringing the total elliglbe reward to $10,000, for information in the case.
Joshua Burns, 29, was at a party on Terragon Trails Oct. 27 when he became the unintended target of a drive-by shooting at about 1:15 a.m., Nashville Police said in a statement. Burns suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken by private vehicle to Southern Hills Medical Center.
He was ultimately transferred to Skyline Medical Center for treatment but died two days after the shooting, police said.
Now, Burns' is family is doubling the reward money in the hopes that someone can come forward and help solve the case.
Anyone with information or who attended the party is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers may be elligible for a cash reward through Crime Stoppers of up to $5,000.
