Monday's high school playoffs
Byrnes fell, 3-0, at Summerville Monday afternoon in game one of its best-of-three 5A Division I state championship series.
The Rebels face an elimination game Wednesday night.
Tuesday's other best-of-three state championship series include:
-BHP opening in 3A softball at Aynor in Horry County.
-Southside Christian can wrap-up its 3A state championship baseball series against visiting Oceanside Collegiate at 7pm. The Sabres opened with a 14-1 win at OCA Saturday.
-Seneca opens its 4A state championship series against visiting Airport at 7pm as well.
