Governor General to award the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers to 61 deserving individuals during a ceremony at Rideau Hall Français
OTTAWA, ON, April 29, 2025 /CNW/ - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will present the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers to 61 recipients during a ceremony in the ballroom at Rideau Hall. The ceremony will be held during National Volunteer Week 2025, which runs from April 27 to May 3. Through tireless and selfless volunteerism, the recipients being recognized today have not only made their communities a better place but have also brought honour to Canada.
