McDonald's heavily publicized spin-off made waves for wacky drinks — now they're coming to regular menus

Fans are lovin' the latest McDonald's menu updates. The fast-food giant announced plans to add select drinks from its beverage-forward concept CosMc's to regular menus later this year. During an earnings call on Tuesday, McDonald's CEO Chris Kempczinski said that the company gained 'interesting learnings' about the rollout of the wacky new concept that launched in Illinois in late 2023. Advertisement While he didn't delve into many details, he noted that the Golden Arches will be working with individual franchisees to test some of the CosMc's exclusive beverages on standard menus. 'It's part of why we set up beverages as one of our key three category structures — just because of the opportunity that we saw there,' the Golden Arches exec said.
