Meraux man arrested following drug investigation
MERAUX, La. (WGNO) — A man has been arrested following a drug and gun bust that occurred in Meraux.
According to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office, the investigation was headed up by their Special Investigations Division Narcotics Unit, and resulted in the arrest of 33-year-old O'Neil Davis, of the 4300 block of Colony Drive.

Davis has been booked into the St. Bernard Parish Prison on the following charges:
Possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine.
Possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl.
Possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Possession of a stolen firearm.
Controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile/person under 17.
Possession of drug paraphernalia.
Child passenger not restrained.
Proceeds from drug transactions.
Fugitive warrant.
Four bench warrants.
Window tint.
Additionally, a background check showed that Davis allegedly had other warrants by the New Orleans Police Department, including aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities (felony,) aggravated assault with a firearm and convicted felon prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Agents reportedly also seized a large amount of crack cocaine/fentanyl, a reported-stolen Glock 9mm, four AR-style rifles, an AR-style receiver, sandwich bags, a digital scale, ammunition and $3,309 in berates Walmart over price hikes: 'EAT THE TARIFFS'
