No injuries in fire at multi-family home on Pliny St. in Hartford
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — No injuries were reported during a two-alarm fire to an occupied, three-story, multi-family home at 41-43 Pliny Street in Clay Arsenal neighborhood of Hartford on Friday night.
A spokesperson for the Hartford Fire Department said that when firefighters arrived on the scene, they encountered a working, heavy fire in the rear porches, which were exposed to neighboring buildings.

A second alarm was requested and multiple crews worked to extinguish the fire, which they eventually did, the spokesperson said. All searches were negative and no injuries were reported by civilians or firefighters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Special Services Unit is working with the American Red Cross to assist any families who are displaced.
