At an elite tennis center, two players with disabilities find their niche
Beneath a navy blue hat and a pair of dark sunglasses, Spencer Davis wore an expression of determination. The Langley freshman, a wheelchair tennis player, was attending a camp at the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park in late May. He circled the facility's center court in near-constant motion during a back-and-forth doubles rally.

RESET Mind & Body Expands Access to Elite Recovery Modalities for the Masses
RESET Mind & Body is revolutionizing wellness by making elite recovery accessible and affordable. Using the RESET Method, it combines compression therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, and red light therapy into a 60-minute session, delivering benefits of workouts, yoga, and massage in one. United States, March 13, 2025 -- Bringing Professional Recovery to Everyone Historically, recovery techniques such as cold plunging, infrared therapy, and compression therapy have been reserved for professional athletes and the ultra-wealthy. RESET Mind & Body is challenging this exclusivity by offering these advanced modalities to the general public in an affordable and community-driven setting. 'The RESET Method is designed to amplify the benefits of each therapy by sequencing them in an intentional order,' says Spencer Davis, Founder of RESET Mind & Body. 'While each of these modalities is powerful on its own, their combined effect enhances muscle recovery, reduces inflammation, improves sleep, and helps dissolve anxiety more effectively than using them separately.' The RESET Method: A Science-Backed Approach to Wellness The RESET Method was created by co-founders Tim and Spencer to maximize the benefits of each recovery tool. Unlike traditional wellness centers that offer a la carte services in a clinical setting, RESET takes a holistic and community-based approach to recovery. A single session at RESET includes: Compression Therapy – Improves circulation and speeds up muscle recovery. Infrared Sauna – Detoxifies the body and promotes relaxation. Cold Plunge – Reduces inflammation, boosts immunity, and sharpens mental clarity. Hot Tub Therapy – Soothes sore muscles and enhances relaxation. Red Light Therapy – Supports skin health and cellular regeneration. This structured sequence ensures compounded benefits, mimicking the results of a HIIT workout, yoga session, and deep-tissue massage in a single visit. Wellness Meets Community RESET is not just about individual recovery—it's about building a community around wellness. Unlike traditional recovery centers that focus solely on the physical benefits of their services, RESET offers a welcoming space where people can connect, recharge, and support one another in their health journeys. 'Cold plunging and recovery aren't just for biohackers and elite athletes anymore,' says Davis. 'At RESET, we believe that everyone deserves access to these transformative tools, and we're making that possible.' A Growing Movement in the Wellness Space RESET Mind & Body is expanding rapidly, bringing its innovative wellness approach to multiple locations. With eight locations already in operation and growing, RESET is quickly becoming a leader in the accessible recovery space. As more people seek holistic, science-backed recovery solutions, RESET stands out as a company that prioritizes affordability, accessibility, and community-driven wellness. State Police Hollidaysburg get donation of 10 new AEDs
HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) — State police in Hollidaysburg were donated 10 new AEDs Monday. They were donated by the Spencer Davis Foundation and the Gregory W. Moyer Foundation. Spencer Davis is a Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School student athlete who collapsed on the field during a football practice in September but was saved by his coaches as they immediately began performing CPR on him. Now he and his family are pushing for AEDs to be more readily accessible in public places, reminding everyone that CPR saves lives. PREVIOUS COVERAGE: Coaching staff honored for saving life of student athlete after nearly fatal hit Troopers said having these AEDs will be pivotal in providing life-saving care to patients suffering cardiac events. Trooper Jacob Rhymestine, Public Information Officer for Troop G in Hollidaysburg, said police officers are often the first to arrive on the scene of an accident or medical emergency due to recent decreases in available ambulances from consolidations. 'Our response sometimes is a first response. So being able to have this new technology and gear that we have and we're trained on makes it lifesaving, invaluable at this point,' Rhymestine said. The Spencer Davis Foundation said they wanted to donate the AEDs to state police for that reason. 'We live our in the outskirts in Hollidaysburg and that's who would respond to us if something were to happen' said Jen Davis, Spencer Davis's mom. 'I just feel like they respond more often than not to a bigger area and more rural areas.' The AEDs were paid for by donations from the community. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
