Splitsvilla X3 winner Aditi Rajput has officially announced her breakup with fiancé Sarang Rai, three years after their grand engagement.
Reality TV star Aditi Rajput, who shot to fame after winning Splitsvilla X3 alongside Jay Dudhane, has officially confirmed her breakup with Bollywood choreographer Sarang Rai. The couple, who got engaged in a lavish ceremony in 2022, have now parted ways after three years together.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Aditi shared a heartfelt note with her followers, stating, 'Hello Everyone, This is a formal communication. Me and Sarang are no longer together. In times like these, I truly appreciate your support and request for privacy. Thank you."
Following the announcement, Aditi deleted all photos and engagement memories with Sarang from her profile and even unfollowed him, marking a clear end to their digital chapter. Interestingly, Sarang still has a few videos of the two together on his account.
Their love story had started in Dehradun, sparked by a casual Instagram story and a collaboration proposal. From vibing creatively to building a relationship that led to a dreamy engagement on October 28, 2022, their journey had all the makings of a fairytale—until now.
In an earlier interview, Aditi had shared how she initially tried to play cupid and set Sarang up with a friend, only to later find out that he had feelings for her. 'I asked him if he's up for a serious relationship wherein we can think about taking it to the next level and he agreed without batting an eyelid. That's when I knew he might be the one," she had said at the time.
Sarang, a former student of Shiamak Davar and an accomplished choreographer in Bollywood, was Aditi's first public relationship since her Splitsvilla win. The breakup has come as a surprise to fans who were rooting for their relationship.
Aditi continues to remain a popular face in the world of reality TV, best remembered for her chemistry with Jay Dudhane on Splitsvilla 13. The duo had emerged victorious after defeating Shivam Sharma and Pallak Yadav in the finale, winning hearts across the nation.
