As metro Detroit's summer concert schedule continues to grow, another big batch of tours has been announced, with tickets going on sale this week. Here's a look at some of the notable new shows. (Many concerts also offer various presale opportunities for early ticket buying; check artist sites for details.) Wu-Tang Clan's farewell tour, dubbed the Final Chamber, will arrive at Little Caesars Arena on July 8. The iconic hip-hop collective will be joined by Run the Jewels in the opening spot. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Neil Young and his new band the Chrome Hearts — featuring keyboardist Spooner Oldham and members of Promise of the Real — will play Pine Knob Music Theatre on Aug. 13 as part of the globetrotting Love Earth Tour. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Breakout pop star Tate McRae has booked a Little Caesars Arena show for Oct. 13, following her already scheduled August concert at the downtown venue. Seats for the new date will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday through Ticketmaster. Pantera's first Detroit headlining appearance in 24 years will bring the iconic metal band to Pine Knob Music Theatre on July 17 with Sweden's Amon Amarth in support. Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown will be joined by guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante for the summer tour. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. The Summer of Loud Tour, hitting Pine Knob Music Theatre on July 16, will feature Detroit's I Prevail plus Beartooth, Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive, all billed as headliners on the North American summer run. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Simple Plan's Bigger Than You Think tour will hit Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre on Aug. 23 with openers Bowling for Soup, 3OH!3 and LØLØ. The Detroit Symphony Orchestra will make its annual summer appearance at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on July 6 with a performance of John Williams movie music, including selections from 'Star Wars,' 'Jaws,' 'Harry Potter' and more. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. The Beach Boys' latest Michigan visit will bring Mike Love, Bruce Johnston and company to Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on May 25. Pop quartet Big Time Rush will revisit the catalog from their hit Nickelodeon sitcom in a Pine Knob Music Theatre stop on Aug. 6, part of the group's Real Life Worldwide tour.
