Hunter was the best player in college football a season ago, winning the Heisman Trophy, Walter Camp Award and both the AP and Sporting News Player of the Year honors. He also won the Paul Hornung Award for the second straight year as college football's most versatile player. He won the Bednarik Award as the nation's top defensive player and the Biletnikoff Award as the best receiver.
