How to watch Mayer vs Ryan 2: TV channel and live stream for boxing tonight
Mikaela Mayer and Sandy Ryan clash in a highly-anticipated rematch in Las Vegas tonight. Six months have now passed since the first fight, when England's Ryan lost her WBO welterweight world title following a majority decision loss at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. The Derby fighter had a can of red paint thrown at her ahead of the bout while en route to the venue and demanded an immediate rematch with that incident still weighing heavily on her mind. She gets her wish at the BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas this weekend and will be desperate to claim back the belt she had initially won by beating Marie Pier House in 2023 and retained against both Jessica McCaskill and Terri Harper. Lauren Price likely awaits the winner of tonight's main event in a huge undisputed fight later this year, with the undefeated Welsh favourite having become unified world champion at welterweight by dominating Natasha Jonas at the Royal Albert Hall earlier this month, adding the WBC and IBF belts to her WBA, IBO and The Ring gold. Price said she hoped to be at ringside for a look at her potential next opponent, with Mayer having been outpointed by Jonas in Liverpool before beating Ryan. TV channel: In the UK, tonight's card is being shown live on Sky Sports. Coverage begins at midnight on Sky Sports Action and from 2am on Sky Sports Main Event. Mayer vs Ryan is expected to get underway at around 3am. Live stream: Sky Sports subscribers can also catch the action live online via the Sky Go app.
