On the eve of their matchup against the Chicago Sky at the United Center, two of the Indiana Fever's key backcourt players, Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham, made a bold statement, despite both being on the Fever's injury report.

Clark, the Fever's 2024 No. 1 overall draft pick and reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, has been on the shelf since straining her left quad on their May 24 match vs the New York Liberty.
Cunningham left the May 30 game against the Connecticut Sun with a right ankle sprain and, as of Friday, was confirmed to be out again on Saturday.
Before Saturday's contest, Clark stepped out in a coordinated brown two-piece set, complete with a matching purse, while Cunningham countered with an all-black ensemble.
However, it was Cunningham's daring look that stole the show.
Her striking look immediately drew the eyes of fans and media alike.

Before her injury, Clark exploded out of the gate in 2025, averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and leading the league with 9.3 assists over her first four games.
Cunningham, meanwhile, acquired in February's four-team trade from the Phoenix Mercury, has carved out a growing role alongside Clark in Indiana's revamped backcourt.
The 28-year-old guard has appeared in 186 career games, averaging 7.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

The Fever entered Saturday's contest with a 3-4 record, sitting seventh in the WNBA standings.
