Is Sidney Crosby's commitment to hockey stronger than his relationship? Why he still hasn't married Kathy Leutner after 15 years of dating?
Why aren't Sidney Crosby and Kathy Leutner married yet? (Getty Images) Sidney Crosby , the face of the Pittsburgh Penguins and one of the greatest players in NHL history , has always let his game do the talking. With three Stanley Cups , an Olympic gold medal, and a resume stacked with accolades, the Canadian superstar is known for his quiet leadership on the ice. Off the ice, however, he's just as private — especially when it comes to his long-term relationship with model Kathy Leutner . Who is Kathy Leutner and how long has she been with Sidney Crosby? Kathy Leutner, 37, is a well-known American model who gained fame after appearing in the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. With a successful career modeling for brands like Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and Faviana, she's built her own identity in the fashion world. Leutner and Crosby reportedly met in 2008 through mutual friends, and they've quietly maintained their relationship ever since. While many fans assume that a 15-year relationship would naturally lead to marriage, Crosby and Leutner have chosen a different path — one that's built on privacy and staying out of the limelight. They've rarely made public appearances together, aside from a few notable moments like Crosby's 1,000th NHL game celebration in 2021, where Leutner stood proudly by his side. Why aren't Sidney Crosby and Kathy Leutner married yet? The question fans often ask is: why haven't they tied the knot after all these years? There's no official statement from the couple, but those close to the situation suggest it's a conscious decision based on their lifestyle. Crosby is known for his laser focus on hockey and keeping his personal life low-key. Both he and Leutner value their privacy deeply, and marriage — especially in the public eye — may not align with how they choose to live. Their bond doesn't seem to need a public label. As one source noted, 'They've been together forever, and that's what matters to them.' In a world of celebrity breakups and media spectacles, Crosby and Leutner's quiet, lasting relationship stands out. Livvy Dunne sizzles in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photoshoot
Livvy Dunne has taken the NIL world by storm and aims to make waves again. The LSU gymnast will be featured in the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. She was one the models to hit the sun-soaked beaches of Bermuda for the annual photo shoot. From athletic excellence to media and modeling success, the top female NIL earner has it all. Dunne's third SI feature represents more than just a magazine spread — it's a statement about the evolving role of athletes in the media landscape. As the most-followed college athlete with over 13 million combined social media followers, Dunne is a pioneer in the NIL era. 'When people look at my Sports Illustrated photos, I want them to take away that you can have the best of both worlds,' Dunne said. Her photos not only highlight her athleticism but also her strength as a businesswoman and cultural influencer. The partnership with Sports Illustrated is a triumph for women in sports, challenging outdated stereotypes. Last year, SI featured Dunne as an all-academic rising star in gymnastics, but this year, they spotlight her as a multifaceted entrepreneur. As SI editor-in-chief MJ Day noted, Dunne is 'shattering stereotypes' and paving the way for future generations of female athletes to embrace their power beyond their sport. "SI Swim means to me being comfortable in your own skin and being undeniably you, which is something I still work on to this day," Dunne said. "In the sport of gymnastics, [body image is] a huge thing, and it's something that I'm still working on to this day, being confident. But SI's really helped me to see that it's okay to not be perfect and to just be comfortable in your own skin.' Beyond gymnastics, Dunne has partnered with major brands like Vuori, Nautica, and Purina, while also founding The Livvy Fund to support NIL opportunities for female athletes. This aligns with her mission to fight for equal representation and opportunities in college athletics. She also wants that to be the start for future generations. Dunne and the LSU Gymnastics team claimed its sixth SEC Championship title in program history with a record-breaking score of 198.200 at the 2025 SEC Gymnastics Championships at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. This is her final year in Death Valley before expanding her brand.
