Beloved broadcaster Mark Rosen launches new Minnesota sports podcast
Twin Cities TV and radio veteran Mark Rosen is launching a podcast.
The longtime WCCO sports director and current KFAN personality has announced the launch of "Rosen's Sports Monday," which is being hosted on the Talk Sports podcast network founded by Star Tribune sports reporter Jim Souhan.
Rosen made his "Sports Monday" debut on the show this week, discussing his "new and old-school thoughts on Vikings, Twins and everything else."
Rosen said during the show Monday he's "absolutely thrilled" to be a part of the Talk North Sports network and "is excited to getting into a new venture."
"I was happy to do 30 years of Rosen's Sports Sundays [on WCCO-TV] and I was glad we had an established audience on channel four for many, many years," he said. "Had some great guests and a few of them I hope to get on this show."
Rosen had Souhan on his first episode of the show, discussing their decades of work in sports media together.
Rosen was inducted into the Minnesota Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2013.
