Data Patterns (India) gains after Q4 PAT climbs 60% YoY; recommends final dividend of Rs 7.90/ share

Data Patterns (India) rallied 3.17% to Rs 2,960 after the company's standalone net profit surged 60.45% to Rs 114.08 crore in Q4 FY25 as against Rs 71.10 crore posted in Q4 FY24. The companys revenue from operations zoomed 117.35% YoY to Rs 396.21 crore in the quarter ended 31 March 2025. Profit before tax was at Rs 153.11 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25, up 60.62% from Rs 95.32 crore posted in the same period a year ago. The operational EBITDA soared by 60.75% to Rs 149.5 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 93 crore reported in Q4 FY24. As of 31 March 2025, the order book stood at Rs 729.84 crore. Including orders under negotiation that have since been converted into confirmed orders, the total order book amounts to Rs 860.47 crore. On full year basis, the company's consolidated net profit grew by 22.08% to Rs 221.81 crore on 36.27% increase in revenue from operations to Rs 708.35 crore in FY25 over FY24. Meanwhile, the companys board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.90 per equity share for the financial year 202425. The final dividend, if approved by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting scheduled for Friday, 08 August 2025, will be paid on or before Saturday, 06 September 2025. ‘Data Patterns expects fast tracking of defence orders'

Chennai: Data Patterns (India), a defense and aerospace electronics systems provider, expects fast tracking of defence orders in the current fiscal due to the tensions in the border, according to a senior executive of the company. 'Because of the present situation, orders for some of our products are likely to fast track, for which enquiries are going on. We are likely to get more orders for units delivered earlier and which have performed well during the operations,' Srinivasagopalan Rangarajan, chairman and managing director of Data Patterns, told TOI. 'We expect some large contracts to happen during the course of this year and development has already started so that if order comes, we should be able to deliver quickly,' he said without divulging further details on the size or products given the sensitivity of the subject. The company's current order book stands at Rs 860 crore and it expects to complete around 80% in the current fiscal. Last April its order book stood at Rs 1,083 crore. The company's guidance expects 20% to 25% growth in top and bottom line growth in FY26. 'Some of these products are in advanced stages of completion and we are making at least Rs 150 crores for building infrastructure and competencies,' Rangarajan added. The company reported a 22% growth in profit after tax in 2024-25 (FY25) fiscal year to Rs 222 crore and 33% increase in total revenue to Rs 755 crore. For the March quarter of FY25, its revenue jumped 109% to Rs 407 crore and PAT grew 61% to Rs 114 crore. The company's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.90 per share. Data Patterns (India) Ltd has reported a profit after tax of Rs 114.08 crore for the January-March 2025 quarter, underscoring the company's execution capabilities and commitment to operational excellence, a top official said on Saturday. The city-headquartered defence and aerospace electronics system provider had earned a profit after tax of Rs 71.10 crore registered during the corresponding quarter of last financial year. For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, the profit of the company surged to Rs 221.81 crore, from Rs 181.69 crore registered in the year ago period. The total income for the quarter under review grew to Rs 406.83 crore, from Rs 194.57 crore registered during the same quarter of last year. For the financial year ending March 31, 2025, the total income grew to Rs 754.69 crore, from Rs 565.83 crore registered in the year ago period. The Board which met on Saturday has recommended a final dividend of Rs 7.90 per share (390 per cent per equity share of Rs 2 each) subject to the approval by the shareholders. Commenting on the financial performance, company Chairman and Managing Director, Srinivasagopalan Rangarajan said, "We are happy to have delivered an excellent growth in revenue while maintaining consistent bottom line performance. Data Patterns Q4 PAT jumps 61 pc to Rs 114 crore

Chennai, May 17 (UNI) Data Patterns (India) Limited, a strategic defence and aerospace electronics systems provider, posted a robust 61 per cent year-on-year growth in profit after tax (PAT) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, rising to ₹114.1 crore from ₹71.1 crore in Q4 of the previous fiscal. Total revenue for the quarter more than doubled to ₹406.8 crore, up 109 per cent from ₹194.6 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations stood at ₹396.2 crore, registering a 117 per cent increase. The company reported a 61 per cent growth in EBITDA at ₹149.5 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) also rose 61 per cent to ₹153.1 crore. On a sequential basis, Q4 revenue grew 217 per cent over Q3 FY25, while PAT rose by 155 per cent from ₹44.7 crore. The strong quarterly performance significantly lifted the company's full-year numbers. For the financial year 2024-25, Data Patterns recorded a 36 per cent growth in operating revenue at ₹708.4 crore, up from ₹519.8 crore in FY24. Total income rose to ₹754.7 crore, a 33 per cent increase year-on-year. PAT for the year stood at ₹221.8 crore, marking a 22 per cent rise from ₹181.7 crore in the previous year. The company's EBITDA grew by 24 per cent to ₹275 crore, while PBT reached ₹295.3 crore, also up 22 per cent. The PAT margin for FY25 stood at 31 per cent, compared to 35 per cent in FY24. The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of ₹7.90 per equity share of ₹2 each (390%), subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The company secured orders worth ₹355 crore during FY25, with an outstanding order book of ₹729.84 crore as on March 31, 2025. Orders worth ₹40.21 crore have been received in Q1 FY26 so far, with an additional ₹91.69 crore in negotiations. Including these, the proforma order book stands at ₹860.47 crore.
