18 year-old injured in Lawrence County crash
WAYNE TWP., Pa. (WKBN) — A driver was left with suspected serious injuries in a crash over the weekend in Lawrence County. According to a Pennsylvania State Police report, the crash happened 9:30 a.m. Sunday on Wampum Road, just south of Oswald Street. The driver, an 18-year-old man from Ellwood City, was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital after the 2014 Ford F-150 XLT he was driving lost control around a curve and went off the roadway. The truck then went airborne over a creek and hit a concrete embankment on the south side of the creek, according to the report. Crews pulled the driver from the vehicle and took him to the hospital. YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Judith E. Fields, 80, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, March 17, 2025. Judith was born on February 28, 1945, in Youngstown, the daughter of Roy H. and Beverly Bowman Johnson. Find obituaries from your high school She was a 1963 graduate of The Rayen High School. She worked for City Ash Company and for St. Elizabeth Hospital in data entry. Judith was an avid bowler, played in various card clubs, and volunteered her time to local organizations. In 2004, she became a Docent for the Butler Art Museum. She also worked for the Victorian Players Theatre Group until 2020. She had a passion for car racing, attending the weekly races at Canfield Speedway. Judith would race cars in the Powder Puff Derby, winning nine out of ten races she entered. Judith is survived by three stepsons, Myron, James and Joseph Fields; her brother, Robert (Mary Lynn) Johnson of Poland and two nephews, Terrence (Terry) Johnson of Eastlake and Michael Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Harold 'Marty' Fields and her parents. Judith's positive attitude and willingness to pitch in will be missed by everyone.
