It didn't take long for it to find its rhythm, though with senior guard Johnson facilitating the ball. She ended the game with a game-high 23 points, nine of those points from deep. She also snagged five steals and grabbed six rebounds, helping the Lafayette girls win for the fourth year in a row. My first summer league game was here in this gym at LCA so it's just crazy that the last game is in here. It's an honor to be MVP, it's something not too many people get to do.' Iberia/Vermilion boys vs. St. Martin/Acadiana boys Final score: Iberia/Vermilion 60, St. Martin/Acadiana 56 MVP: Jaiden Mitchell, Catholic-New Iberia Summary: The closest game of the night was this one as these two squads went back and forth for pretty much the entire game. The difference maker for Iberia/Vermilion boys was senior guard Mitchell. The dual-sport athlete led his team's offense with 21 points, two steals and four rebounds. While he went off, his biggest cheerleader in the stands was his grandma who you could hear throughout the game. I thank my teammates because, without them, I wouldn't be MVP.'
