Lamar, South Central Elementary awarded CTE funds
JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — Two Washington County, Tennessee elementary schools were awarded funds to support Career and Technical Education, or CTE.
Lamar and South Central elementary schools received $500 from the Tennessee Directors of Career and Technical Education and Tennessee Advanced Career and Technical Education.
Main Street Days: St. Paddy's Day Edition happening in Johnson City on March 15
According to the school system, the funds will be used to develop the schools' CTE programs through strategic purchases.
Check presentations took place Monday at both schools.
