Rogersville, Kickapoo in 2026 T of C
SPRINGFIELD, Mo–We're still more than eight months away from the Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions.
But tournament director Josh Scott unveiled the teams coming to the prestigious high school hoops event.
The out of state teams are, St. John Bosco from California, St. Paul XI out of Virginia, Wheeler Georgia, Calvary Christian from Florida and Bartlett Tennessee.
Today at Bass Pro Shops, the local teams were announced Principia out of the St. Louis area.
And Rogersville and Kickapoo.
Chiefs coach Mitch McHenry's troops will be returning for the first time since 2023.
'As we sit in this aquarium, we're a very small fish in the big realm and big scheme of things with this tournament. But we're looking forward to the opportunity. And we're really excited that our kids get to experience this. Because all these guys have fond memories. Any basketball player in Southwest Missouri growing up has a fond memory of this tournament. It's instilled into them. And just having the opportunity to compete in it is something special,' said Kickapoo coach Mitch McHenry.
