St. Vincent de Paul starts national search for new CEO
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Baton Rouge community nonprofit St. Vincent de Paul announced Friday that it is searching for a new CEO.
Former CEO Michael Acaldo accepted a new position as CEO of St. Vincent de Paul USA in September 2024 after 30 years at the Baton Rouge organization.
'Michael Acaldo did a remarkable job in his 30 years with St. Vincent de Paul,' Search Committee Chair Ralph Stephens said. 'While his shoes will be hard to fill, we have assembled a great team to help us find and hire a dynamic leader who can build on Michael's legacy.'
St. Vincent de Paul offers resources including homeless shelters, meal programs, a community pharmacy and supportive services.
The search for a new leader started Thursday, Feb. 6.
Search Timeline:
First and second round of interviews scheduled for March.
Final round of interviews set for April.
New CEO starts in May.
