St. Albert reinforces access to city services for payments in case of postal strike
The City of St. Albert is setting up alternate ways for residents to access or pay for services as it anticipates a postal strike later this week.
It said on its website a potential strike by Canada Post starting May 22 has led it to bolster access to help with:
Property assessment and tax notices
Mailed and emailed to property owners on May 16. Payment is due June 30;
Ways to pay: at your financial institution, online, in-person at St. Albert Place 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday to Friday, or drop off in mail slot after hours (no cash).
