Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Release "I Said I Love You First" Deluxe Album with 2 Additional Tracks

Yara Sameh Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco aren't done with the rollout for their first joint album " I Said I Love You First ". The couple unveiled the deluxe version of their album on Friday with two new tracks. Among the new songs is the fan-favorite previously unreleased track 'Stained,' which was written sometime pre-Rare, but after 2015's "Revival". The song, originally produced by her now-fiancé, was first teased in 2016 when the singer shared a snippet. It eventually leaked in full on the internet, but didn't make the cut on either of Gomez's next two albums. Now, it's available for fans to enjoy in full. In a livestream that was recorded by a fan last weekend, Gomez gave listeners — and Blanco, who was on the stream with her— some background on what had happened with 'Stained,' saying, 'You know, I actually loved that song and I was nervous … I remember I was still nervous to curse in a song. I don't know what happened. I'm sure I leaked it on accident, or I did something. But it got out, and I'm kind of happy that it did.' Additionally, the deluxe version features an acoustic version of their Gracie Abrams collaboration, 'Call Me When You Break Up.' Upon the original album's release, Gomez, Blanco and Abrams joined Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 this week to discuss the team-up, where the 'That's So True' singer opened up about how natural the song's creation was. 'For as long as I've cared about music, both of their work has been in my life,' Abrams said of Gomez and Blanco. 'So anything that they want from me is a yes forever. And I just felt really grateful for the opportunity. And also just the song was immediately so stuck in my head as soon as I heard it for the first time. And of course, the opportunity to write my verse on it just happened so quickly, which I think is such a testament to how addicting the song is I think.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Videos & Features Bouchra Dahlab Crowned Miss Arab World 2025 .. Friday Music Guide: New Music From Ariana Grande, Lil Durk, Selena Gomez & More

Billboard's Friday Music Guide serves as a handy guide to this Friday's most essential releases — the key music that everyone will be talking about today, and that will be dominating playlists this weekend and beyond. This week, Ariana Grande's Eternal Sunshine gets brighter, Lil Durk shares his story and Selena Gomez finally releases a fan favorite. Check out all of this week's picks below: More from Billboard Ariana Grande Welcomes 'Brighter Days Ahead' With 'Eternal Sunshine' Deluxe Album: Stream It Now Lil Durk Releases 'Deep Thoughts' Album From Behind Bars: Stream It Now Bachman-Turner Overdrive Make a Grand Return With Neil Young Collab '60 Years Ago': 'There Was No Great Plan for This Song' Ariana Grande, While Ariana Grande's Eternal Sunshine album already feels like ages ago — thanks in part to a wildly successful Wicked campaign, which netted the pop superstar an Oscar nod — this deluxe edition not only adds six new top-notch cuts to her most recent full-length, but also serves as a reason to revisit one of Ari's most accomplished artistic statements, one year later. Lil Durk, Lil Durk's ninth studio album exists in a singular context from the rest of his catalog, as the Chicago rap star is currently in prison and awaiting trial while facing murder-for-hire charges, but Deep Thoughts turns that uncertainty into a compelling listen, with Future, Lil Baby and Jhene Aiko all stopping by to support Durk as he works through his fears and doubts behind bars. Selena Gomez, 'Stained' One week after she and fiancé Benny Blanco unveiled their collaborative album I Said I Love You First, Selena Gomez has given fans a thank-you gift with the studio version of 'Stained,' a smoky standout that originally leaked in 2017 during an exciting creative run and, with its echoing harmonies and trap drums swirling around Gomez's haunted words, still sounds fresh today. Lucy Dacus, Lucy Dacus' personal and professional circumstances have changed since her last full-length — she's signed to a major label, the success of Boygenius has greatly elevated her profile, and she recently confirmed a relationship with Julien Baker, which serves as the basis of her new album's romantic slant — but her distinct songwriting flair remains intact, and helps connect Forever is a Feeling to the rest of her oeuvre. Playboi Carti, After flooding the Hot 100 with all 30 tracks from his long-awaited new album Music, Playboi Carti has tossed four new songs onto the project as a means of apologizing to fans for the prolonged gap between Whole Lotta Red and its follow-up; the final song, 'FOMDJ,' is a tough-as-nails highlight, with the type of juxtaposition between crunchy production and elastic flow that Carti often embraces. Linkin Park, 'Up From the Bottom' If From Zero, the rock group's first album in seven years and Emily Armstrong's debut as co-vocalist, represented a band working towards a new identity last year, the pulse-pounding 'Up From the Bottom' may hint at the sound Linkin Park will explore more deeply in the future, as a punk anthem with coiled energy and more natural interplay between Armstrong and Mike Shinoda. Feid feat. Ty Dolla $ign, 'DALLAX' The flip phones and cassette players featured in the music video to 'DALLAX' are not the only retro components to Feid and Ty Dolla $ign's new collaboration: as the reggaetón and R&B veteran bounce off each other, their styles blend into a sound that harkens back to the rhythmic pop of the turn of the century, with modern flourishes but a nostalgic foundation. Mumford & Sons, At a moment when folk-rock is back in vogue, Mumford & Sons, perhaps the movement's biggest breakthrough act in the early 2010s, has returned with an album that gestures toward the band's past while not abiding by its boundaries. Rushmere is a free-wheeling rock affair that builds upon the confidence that Marcus Mumford demonstrated on his 2022 self-titled solo album. Jessie Reyez, Paid in Memories is the sprawling project that Jessie Reyez has been working towards her entire career, with the singer-songwriter no longer reducing her aesthetic to chase success, writing about her experiences with heightened vulnerability and ultimately producing the best songs of her career. 'NYB,' 'BEGGIN 4 LUV' and the 6lack team-up '6LESSINGS' are immediate highlights. Editor's Pick: Free Range, As Free Range, Chicago-based singer-songwriter Sofia Jensen writes songs that linger in the air and rattle in your brain long after they've dissipated. Lost & Found, their follow-up to 2023's Practice, contains breathtaking beauty made out of very few production tricks — a testament to Jensen's disarming delivery, as they yearn for connection and let their voice crack over straightforward yet effective arrangements. Selena Gomez's Last-Ditch Effort To Send Her New Album To No. 1

Selena Gomez floods iTunes with seven versions of I Said I Love You to boost sales and keep her ... More Billboard 200 No. 1 streak alive in a battle with Playboi Carti. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 03: Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco attend a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat at Arena on January 03, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges and agrees that, by downloading and or using this photograph, User is consenting to the terms and conditions of the Getty Images License Agreement. (Photo by) Selena Gomez has enjoyed great success on the Billboard 200 throughout her solo career. She's managed to turn every full-length she's released into a chart-topping release…though not everything perfect lasts. The pop star's latest album I Said I Love You is locked in a tight race for No. 1, and as the tracking week comes to a close, Gomez is pulling out all the stops to ensure she doesn't miss the top spot. I Said I Love You is a collaboration with Gomez's fiancé Benny Blanco, and while that's a compelling story on its own, it doesn't look like it will be enough to guarantee another chart-topper. At the last moment, the couple released multiple editions of the same set — seven in total — and as of the time of writing, every single one is performing incredibly well. Selena Gomez's Many Versions of Her Album All seven versions of I Said I Love You are currently sitting inside the top 10 on iTunes in the United States. That's an impressive selling feat, even for a star of Gomez's caliber. The original version of the album is still the strongest performer, as it remains at No. 1 on the platform. It has mostly held steady in that spot since it dropped on Friday, March 21, and the title was always going to enjoy a lofty debut thanks to purchases of the first edition. Just behind the standard version, two alternate takes, titled Stained and Talk, land at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Three more versions fill out the middle of the top 10, as Seven Heavens, Slowed and Reverbed, and Call Me When You Break Up Special Edition appear at Nos. 5, 6, and 7, respectively. Finally, Explained: Narrated by Selena Gomez rounds out the cluster of bestsellers at No. 9. Selena Gomez's Sales Plan Releasing different takes of the same album isn't exactly a new trick. In fact, it's something plenty of well-known musicians have done before, both with songs and full-lengths. It's a strategic move to maximize sales during a tight tracking week, and it works because Billboard often counts these alternate versions together under one entity, as long as certain requirements are met. Fans are only allowed to purchase a limited number of copies per version, so by offering several options — sometimes just barely altered — Gomez and Blanco make it possible for their most devoted listeners to support the project many times over. With other artists, new takes have been known to be instrumental or slowed, others feature alternate artwork or bonus tracks, but they all serve the same purpose: driving up total sales before the tracking week ends. Trying to Beat Playboi Carti to No. 1 These last-minute efforts appear to be in direct response to early predictions from HitsDailyDouble, which suggest that I Said I Love You may debut at No. 2 on next week's Billboard 200. According to the publication, Playboi Carti's new release Music is currently projected to spend a second week at No. 1, holding off Gomez and Blanco's joint album by perhaps tens of thousands of equivalent units. Selena Gomez's No. 1 Streak Could Be in Jeopardy As a soloist, Gomez has never missed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. Her previous three full-lengths — Stars Dance, Revival, and Rare — all topped the tally, even if only briefly. Whether this marketing move will be enough to push her release past Carti's Music remains to be seen. It's also possible that Billboard may decide to disqualify some of the sales, which happens from time to time in especially egregious moments.

Selena Gomez Drops "I Said I Love You First" Narrated Version & 'Unreleased Track "Stained"

Yara Sameh Fans who can't get enough of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's "I Said I Love You First" have more to explore with a newly released version of the album, "I Said I Love You First – Explained: Narrated by Selena Gomez". As Gomez explained on Sunday in posts on social media, 'benny and I made so many amazing memories throughout the process of creating our new album. I wanted to let you guys in on some of those stories and the making of these songs. I Said I Love You First – Explained: Narrated by Selena Gomez is available for digital download on my official store now!'. Partners in music and romance (the couple announced their engagement in December), Gomez and Blanco unveiled their joint album — the follow-up to Gomez's 2020 "Rare" — on Friday, March 21. The LP's full release was preceded by singles including 'Call Me When You Break Up' featuring Gracie Abrams and 'Sunset Blvd.' Gomez and Blanco also surprise released a bonus track, with a title that should sound familiar to longtime fans. Some time pre-Rare, but after 2015's "Revival,' Gomez was brewing up music that never saw a release. From that era is a song called 'Stained,' originally produced by Blanco, and first teased in 2016 when the singer shared a snippet. The track eventually leaked in full on the internet, but didn't make the cut on either of Gomez's next two albums. 'Eight years later and you guys never forgot about this song,' she wrote to fans over the weekend. 'Your love for Stained has never gone away and I wanted to do something special to say thank you for all the love and support on the album. Stained is now available exclusively on my official store for a limited time only.' In a livestream that was recorded by a fan over the weekend, Gomez gave listeners (and Blanco, who was on the stream with her) some background on what had happened with 'Stained,' saying, 'You know, I actually loved that song and I was nervous … I remember I was still nervous to curse in a song. I don't know what happened. I'm sure I leaked it on accident, or I did something. But it got out, and I'm kind of happy that it did.' See Gomez's TikTok clips below to catch her singing along to 'Stained.' She also shares details about the narrated version of "I Said I Love You First", noting, 'Basically I get to tell a little story about each song on the album, so I can explain it to you guys and you can see how I view them. I'd love to know your thoughts as well and how you relate to it all.' @selenagomez Eight years later and you guys never forgot about this song 🖤 Your love for Stained has never gone away and I wanted to do something special to say thank you for all the love and support on the album. Ronnie Radke Reported to Tasmanian Police Over Councillor Comments

Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke is facing scrutiny after a social media tirade directed at Australian councillors prompted an official report to Tasmania Police. The backlash stems from a photo shared by Launceston Mayor Matthew Garwood, who posed with Radke during the band's current Australian tour. The image quickly drew criticism from councillors and members of the community, referencing Radke's criminal past, including prior convictions for domestic violence and assault in 2012. More from Billboard Playboi Carti Scores Second No. 1 on Billboard 200 With 'MUSIC' Selena Gomez Drops Narrated Version of 'I Said I Love You First' - Plus 'Stained,' an Unreleased Track From Eight Years Ago J Balvin Lights Up Miami With Back to the Rayo Tour Stop: Best Moments He also faced sexual assault allegations in 2015, though he was not convicted of that offence. 'I stand in solidarity with all the women who have suffered at the hands of violence, whose voices are continually silenced while men like Ronnie Radke are given hero status,' Councillor Lindi McMahon said in a statement reported by ABC News. In response, Radke lashed out on Instagram, calling the ABC 'propaganda pieces of s–t' and directly targeting Councillors McMahon and Andrea Dawkins. He referred to Dawkins as a 'disgusting f—ing human,' tagging her account and instructing his followers to 'go give her the much needed bullying she deserves.' City of Launceston CEO Sam Johnson issued a firm response condemning the artist's comments, calling them 'dangerous and irresponsible.' 'The City of Launceston condemns the dangerous and irresponsible actions of US singer Ronnie Radke, who has used his social media platform to incite harassment and abuse against elected councillors,' Johnson's statement reads. 'His recent Instagram video – which calls on his followers to target and intimidate Councillors who expressed concerns over a photo with the Mayor – is not only reckless but entirely unacceptable. 'Councillors have a duty to represent the interests of the community without fear of intimidation or abuse. No individual – celebrity or otherwise – has the right to weaponise their platform against those who exercise their democratic right to voice concerns. 'Mr Radke's actions place undue risk on the safety and wellbeing of Councillors and their families, creating a hostile environment that goes against the principles of free speech, accountability, and civil discourse. He confirmed that Tasmania Police had been contacted regarding the posts, adding that the council had reported Radke's video to Instagram and urged social media platforms to act on the misuse of their services. 'We call on Mr. Radke to immediately retract his inflammatory statements and take responsibility for the harm his words have caused,' Johnson added. 'His actions place undue risk on the safety and wellbeing of Councillors and their families, creating a hostile environment that goes against the principles of free speech, accountability, and civil discourse.' Radke has since doubled down with a second video on Sunday, again attacking the councillors and showing no indication of retraction. Meanwhile, Garwood has spoken out after posting the now-deleted photograph of himself of Radke., describing the last few days as 'absolute mayhem'. 'I am deeply alarmed to hear of serious threats towards my colleagues and am concerned for their welfare and around the manner in which these uploads were delivered,' he wrote on March 23. 'The recent social media posts made by Ronnie Radke regarding City of Launceston Councillors were entirely his own and do not reflect my views in any way and I condemn the call for bullying and the way in which they have been delivered. I do not condone violence or threats against anyone, and I believe in respectful discourse, even in disagreement; Which is something that I too need to be better at.' 'These posts are a personal response from Mr. Radke to individual's comments made about him. They were not directly related to my attendance at his show. It is important to separate individual opinions from broader discussions, and I encourage respectful engagement on all matters.' He continued, 'As stated in my previous post, I saw this as simply an opportunity to meet a band I've listened to since high school. Never to endorse any specific actions or personal positions of the band. I appreciate that people have differing views on this, and I will continue to respect those perspectives' ' Best of Billboard Chart Rewind: In 1989, New Kids on the Block Were 'Hangin' Tough' at No. 1 Janet Jackson's Biggest Billboard Hot 100 Hits H.E.R. & Chris Brown 'Come Through' to No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay Chart
