A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and arson following the deaths of an elderly couple in a house fire two months Rickman, 91, and Roma Rickman, 88 were found dead at their home in Heron Close in Alton, Hampshire on 14 April at about 04:00 said the arrested man, from Aldershot, had been bailed with conditions until 18 September while inquiries continue.A 16-year-old Alton boy, and two boys aged 15 from Bordon and Alton all previously arrested on suspicion of murder also remain on bail with conditions. Family's tribute to 'kind and generous' grandparents killed in house fire

The family of a "kind and generous" elderly couple who died in a house fire have paid tribute to "much-loved grandparents". Stan Rickman, 91, and Roma Rickman, 88, of Heron Close in Alton, Hampshire, were found dead at their home early on 14 April. Hampshire Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy from Bordon as well as two other teenage boys from Alton on suspicion of murder. All three have been released on bail, pending further inquiries. In a statement shared by police, the couple's family said they "will be greatly missed". "Stan and Roma were much loved parents and grandparents who were kind and generous and would do anything for anyone," they said. "The family are extremely saddened that they were taken from us too early and that we were unable to share their last years with them. "They will be greatly missed, but their memory will live on through their family and many friends. "The family wish to thank the emergency services for their actions and support through this difficult time." A police spokesman separately appealed for any information that could assist their investigation.

Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after an elderly couple died in a house fire. Stan Rickman, 91, and 88-year-old Roma Rickman were found dead following the fire at their home in Alton, Hampshire, on April 14. Emergency services were called to the property at 4am and the Rickmans were pronounced dead at the scene. Police said two 15-year-old boys and a 16-year-old old boy were arrested on suspicion of murder, and later released on bail. The Rickmans' family said in a statement: 'The family would like to thank everyone who has left flowers and kind messages but please respect our privacy at this difficult time.' A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: 'A 15-year-old boy from Bordon [Hants] has been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 15 year-old boy from Alton has been arrested on suspicion of murder. They have both been bailed with conditions whilst enquiries continue. 'A 16 year-old boy from Alton who was arrested on suspicion of murder has also been released on police bail with conditions.' Det Supt Danielle Daltrey, the senior investigating officer, added: 'Investigating this incident remains a top priority and we are continuing our work to establish the circumstances. 'We would still like to speak to anyone who may have information which could assist our investigation. 'Did you witness anyone behaving suspiciously in the area between midnight and 5am on 14 April? Do you have any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage which may show anyone behaving suspiciously in the area around this time? 'If you have any information which could assist, please report this to us.'
