The pair had been bouldering around Stanage Edge at about 17:00 BST on Saturday when the father fell from Crescent Arete above Stanage Plantation. Edale Mountain Rescue Team attended and treated the injury before carrying the man on a stretcher to a waiting ambulance. The team praised the son for providing first aid to his father prior to their arrival.
