Road taped off after fire near park in Ardrossan Ayrshire
Residents in Ardrossan were woken at around 1am and asked to move their vehicles after flames tore through a radio antenna, according to reports from the Daily Record.
Emergency services responded swiftly, with a clear-up operation on Stanley Road lasting until approximately 4am.

The road was closed and cordoned off by officers from Police Scotland.
The cordon extended from outside Stanley's Kitchen Chinese takeaway to the junction with St Andrew's Road, on the opposite side of the play park.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.10am on Thursday, June 19, 2025, we received a report of a mast fire on Stanley Road, Ardrossan and officers attended to assist.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.41pm on Wednesday, June 18, to reports of a telephone mast on fire in Ardrossan.
"Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the town's Stanley Road, where firefighters were met by a well-developed fire.
"Crews worked to make the area safe before leaving the scene."
