There is no try: Do or do not see loads of Star Wars movies at the Parkway in May
May the Fourth be with anyone trying to get tickets at the last minute.
The Parkway Theater in Minneapolis has unveiled its May movie series, and it'll be a Star Wars-filled month.
The theater's "Star Wars Month" programming will put a galaxy far, far away on the screen five times throughout the month, starting with a screening on Star Wars Day, May 4.
It'll kick off the series with the May the Fourth screening of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. (A well-timed opportunity to brush up on the origins of Cassian Andor before the final three episodes of Andor are released on May 13.)
After that opening screening, the Parkway will head back to the beginning and play episodes IV through VII one week at a time.
For casual fans who can't keep the various storylines and lore at the front of their mind, that'll be A New Hope (1977) on May 10, The Empire Strikes Back (1980) on May 17, The Return of the Jedi (1983) on May 24, and, finally, The Force Awakens (2015) on May 31.
Passes for the full five-movie run are available now for $43.85 (with taxes and fees) or $32.30 for viewers 12 and under.
The theater's other movie series for May is dubbed "Don't Quit Your Day Job" and features screenings of Desperately Seeking Susan (1985) on May 7, Fight Club (1999) on May 14, Moonstruck (1987) on May 21, and The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) on May 27.
