Starbucks Japan releases new Stanley bottles and exclusive drinkware at Reserve Roastery Tokyo

Add an air of sophistication to your coffee time with these gorgeous goods. Last autumn, Starbucks Japan began offering goods designed to 'blend into daily life and enhance your coffee lifestyle' at its premium Reserve Roastery branches. Now, with summer just around the corner, the chain is expanding on this theme with a new collection based around the concept of 'Daily Life at Home With Wonderful 'Iced' Coffee'. This range aims to help customers better enjoy Starbucks Reserve coffee, iced at home for summer, with never-before-seen Stanley cups in shades of cooling ice-blue, and brewing equipment with touches that are designed to age beautifully, the more you use them. Let's take a closer look at all the new items coming our way, starting with the classy brewing equipment. ▼ Hario V60 Heat-Resistant Glass Dripper Olive Wood – 4,400 yen (US$30.16) A heat-resistant glass dripper by Hario, with a cool appearance that's perfect for summer. The conical shape allows for a deep layer of coffee grounds, extracting rich flavour when placed directly on a server or glass to brew coffee. The large single hole lets you control the taste: pour quickly for a clean flavour, or slowly for a deeper richness. The base is made from natural olive wood, with beautiful, varied grain and a smooth feel that fits comfortably in your hand. ▼ Starbucks Reserve Glass Server with Leather Sleeve – 500 millilitres (16 ounces) – 5,000 yen This stylish, heat-resistant glass server for drip coffee comes with a genuine leather sleeve, acting as a piece of coffee ware that combines both design and function. Enjoy Starbucks' recipe for flash-chilled coffee at home by pouring coffee over plenty of ice for a crisp, refreshing taste. ▼ Starbucks Reserve Slim Glass with Leather Sleeve – 430 millilitres – 3,800 yen This neat-looking, heat-resistant glass is perfect for enjoying iced coffee, with the handcrafted leather sleeve giving it the Roastery Tokyo touch. ▼ Stanley 3-Way Stainless Steel Tumbler Blue – 887 millilitres – 7,400 yen A collaboration with the super-popular American brand Stanley, this refreshing matte blue stainless steel tumbler is ideal for summertime coffees. By twisting the lid's cover section, you can either drink from it directly, use the straw, or close the mouthpiece — three options to suit any situation. The handle makes it easy to carry, and its large capacity is perfect for summer outings. ▼ Stanley Classic Vacuum Coffee Press Bottle Blue – 473 millilitres – 7,200 yen This Stanley coffee press bottle, in Roastery Tokyo's original cooling colour, lets you brew coffee by adding ground beans and hot water directly into the bottle. It can also be used as a portable stainless steel bottle, so you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee anytime, anywhere. These exclusive goods are a cut above other items sold at regular Starbucks branches, so if you're looking to add an air of sophistication to your coffee experience, be sure to check out Japan's Roastery chain while the goods are in stock from 5 May. All products can be purchased at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo and Starbucks Japan's official online store, while the Stanley Vacuum Coffee Press Bottle will be available at Starbucks Reserve stores as well. Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo releases Japanese parfait lattes and pina colada flights

Reward yourself with a series of exclusive limited-edition drinks. Japan's Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo is kicking off summer early this year with a collection of carefully crafted beverages designed for warmer weather. There's a new offering to tempt you on every floor of the Roastery, so you can sip on malt milk beverages at the first-floor main bar before enjoying an exclusive tea up in the Teavana space on the second floor and finish with a flight of Piña Colada-inspired cocktails at the third-floor Arriviamo bar. The key ingredient this season is rice malt, which can be enjoyed in a number of beverages that are said to be 'the perfect companion for a refined evening cool-down'. ▼ Brown Sugar Warabi Mochi Parfait Latte with Rice Malt Milk (1,500 yen [US$10.35] dine-in; 1,473 yen takeout) This parfait-like beverage combines naturally sweet rice malt milk and espresso, topped with warabi mochi (a jelly-like bracken strach confection) and finished with ice cream, whipped cream, brown sugar syrup, and kinako (roasted soybean flour). Crafted like a Japanese parfait, this playful, innovative drink contains a fusion of traditional Japanese flavours with a Starbucks coffee twist. ▼ Brown Sugar Warabi Mochi Latte with Rice Malt Milk (1,100 yen dine-in; 1,080 yen takeout) This simple, mellow beverage combines naturally sweet rice malt milk and espresso, topped with brown sugar syrup and warabi mochi, allowing you to enjoy the pure flavours of the ingredients. ▼ Starbucks Reserve Oleato Golden Gelato Cold Brew Float (1,050 yen dine-in; 1,031 yen takeout) This luxurious beverage showcases Starbucks Reserve's coffee beans by topping a smooth, sweet cold brew with gelato blended with fragrant olive oil, made using the Swiss-born frozen food processor 'Pacojet'. Finished with a sprinkle of sea salt to enhance the flavours, this innovative drink expands the possibilities of the Oleato series, which explores different combinations of coffee and olive oil. ▼ Teavana Frozen Pineapple Kona Pop (1,500 yen dine-in; 1,473 yen takeout) Up at the second-floor Teavana Bar, you'll find this frozen beverage based on the 'Teavana Pineapple Kona Pop', a vibrant, refreshing blended tea featuring tangy pineapple and flowers such as rose and marigold. Blended with fresh fruit and ice, then topped with vanilla ice cream, the sweet-tart notes create a multi-layered taste experience, while a hint of coconut-flavoured mousse adds creaminess for an even more indulgent flavour. This drink is said to capture the luxurious feeling of being hit by a refreshing early summer breeze in a tropical resort. ▼ Brown Sugar Warabi Mochi Hojicha Tea Latte with Rice Malt Milk (1,100 yen dine-in; 1,080 yen takeout) This variation replaces espresso with 'Kaga Bo Hojicha' (roasted green tea), offering a refreshing tea experience. Enjoy the texture of warabi mochi and the toasty aroma of hojicha in this unique latte. ▼ Arriviamo Colada Flight (3,600 yen) Up at the third-floor Arriviamo Bar, you can enjoy a flight of three Piña Colada-inspired beverages. These cocktails blend rum with 'Teavana Peach Tranquility', a tea known for its gentle peach flavor and chamomile aroma, and milk and cream. Alongside the main cocktail, you can sample two others: one featuring house-made cold brew cola syrup and another with vanilla ice cream. Non-alcoholic versions are also available, so you can enjoy the refreshing, liberating feeling of summer to your liking. Rice malt milk is a plant-based milk made with a focus on deliciousness using fermentation technology. Its sweetness and umami make it a perfect match for lattes, coffee, and tea. This new lineup of drinks will be available at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo from 9 May to 4 September, while stocks last. Starbucks debuts the culty Ube Espresso Martini this week

Starting Tuesday, May 6, Starbucks Reserve locations are rolling out new summer menu items that blend innovation with indulgence. But these sweet new treats are only available at Reserve Roasteries, which means you'll have to be in Chicago, NYC or Seattle to enjoy. And the headlining new drink might be worth making a trip if you're not there. Making its summer debut is the Ube Espresso Martini—a bold, boozy spin on the fan-favorite Iced Ube Coconut Latte. This vibrant cocktail mixes Starbucks Reserve Espresso, Kalak Vodka, cream and white mocha, all crowned with ube coconut cold foam. It's a luxe, velvety drink that feels as perfect for a summer rooftop as it does for a late-night lounge. Also new is the Masala Chai Latte, a bold, spiced black tea blend from Assam, India. Notes of ginger, cardamom and black pepper bring heat and depth—perfect hot or iced. On the food front, the new Crispy Hashbrown Egg Cup has arrived, with a savory combo of Parmigiano Reggiano, spinach and fresh herbs baked into a crispy hashbrown shell with a jammy egg center. Add sliced prosciutto on top and you've got a small plate that works for breakfast, brunch or a mid-afternoon bite. Still on the menu are floral-inspired favorites like the Lavender Matcha Malt, Butterfly Tea Spritz and Rose Pistachio Twice-Baked Cornetto, along with the returning Iced Ube Coconut Latte—a drink that clearly continues to inspire. Starbucks Reserve locations are also debuting new whole bean coffee—Rwanda Sholi Kundwa and Honey Process Ecuador Loja, and the customer-favorite Indonesia West Java blend will return—as well as new merch designed by artist Melissa Kolby.
