Strasbourg monitor '€9 million' rated Motherwell star Lennon Miller
The Steelmen's prize asset is expected to depart this summer and another club is interested in his signature
Lennin Miller is being 'closely monitored' by French Ligue 1 side Stasbourg, according to a report.
The Wishaw teenager is expected to depart Fir Park this summer and the PFA and SWFW Young Player of the Year has attracted plenty of interest on the continent, as well as Celtic and Manchester United over the course of the season.
Now French outlet L'Equipe reports that the 18-year-old is on the radar of Strasbourg, adding that "with Andrey Santos out of the loan and returning to Chelsea, Strasbourg will have to rebuild its midfield, especially since Habib Diarra is also leaving."
They also claim that Miller is rated to be worth €9 million.
Miller has been called up to the Scotland squad for the friendlies against Iceland on June 6 and Liechtenstein June 9, where he will be hoping to win his first cap for his country.
Earlier this month, Motherwell boss Michael Wimmer admitted they were resigned to losing Miller.
The German said: 'We have to prepare both situations, but I think it's more realistic that we have to prepare without Lennon, instead of with Lennon.
'We're always sitting here and speaking about football, about tactics, about technical, about is he a six, is he an eight, is he running behind, is he running?
'I think there are more topics than only football, and if you're 18 years old and you have so many offers, you're always in the public eye, invited to the national team, and you stay humble like him, you stay grounded, then it's absolutely perfect and this is something that I like.
'It shows that Lennon is a great person and it also shows that he has a fantastic environment. Always the character from people is more important.
'He is a fantastic player, it's clear because he shows this every in the training and every weekend in the matches, but more important is that he's a brilliant guy.
'If you have the skills and this character, then you will have a great career in front of you.
'Hopefully he stays without injuries, he stays healthy, and if he stays healthy and finds the right club who believes in him and gives him the chance to be the Lennon who he is, then I think he will have a great career.'
