This comes in the wake of the department's recent order asking the university to revoke the implementation of the policy that allowed students to choose minor courses from the major discipline they have already selected. A release quoting KPCTA's regional committee said here on Thursday that the department was trying to interfere in the academic affairs of the university by asking it to withdraw the option. This was in violation of the various orders of the Supreme Court as well, the committee functionaries pointed out.
