Job fair will match job seekers with employers

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The state is hosting another virtual job fair and inviting job seekers and employers from all industries to sign up. KANSASWORKS is organizing the Statewide Virtual Job Fair, which will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 16-18. 'Over a three-day period, companies will be conducting interviews to fill a wide array of positions,' Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland said. 'There are many hard-working Kansans who simply don't have time to scout out new career options during the week.' During the virtual job fair, job seekers can use any digital device, such as computers, tablets or smartphones, to join the job fair and fill out applications. FedEx Wichita facility to close, impacting 72 employees Applicants are encouraged to dress professionally, as employers may request to engage in a video interview during the virtual job fair. Job seekers and employers must register in advance, even if they have participated in previous virtual job fairs. Click here to register. WorkForce West Virginia announces upcoming Statewide Virtual Job Fair

CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) — WorkForce West Virginia announced the date for the next Statewide Virtual Job Fair. According to a press release, the next event will take place on April 2, 2025, spanning from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and welcomes both prospective employees and employers to participate. Last month, 1,121 job seekers registered to connect with more than 137 registered employers. To date, 13,330 West Virginians have connected with more than 3,225 companies all across the Mountain State by attending a Statewide Virtual Job Fair.
