Structure hit by gunfire in Waynesboro, suspect arrested
WAYNESBORO — Police arrested a suspect Friday after reports of gunfire at 305 E. Main Street in Waynesboro. A structure was hit, according to the Waynesboro Police Department. At approximately 1 p.m., officers responded to the scene but the suspect, Domanik S. Trohon, 24, of Staunton, had fled. He was eventually arrested by the Staunton Police Department, jail records show. Trohon is charged with maliciously shooting at an occupied dwelling, possession of a firearm by a non-violent felon, and reckless handling of a firearm, police said. He is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail in Verona. Staunton PD: Adult missing since Sunday
Note: The News Leader is publishing this article for free as a public service to our readers. STAUNTON — The Staunton Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing adult, according to a press release. Justin Cromer, 26, was last seen Sunday. Cromer is about 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds, police said. He has brown eyes and black hair. Police said Cromer could be driving a maroon 2001 Ford Explorer with a Virginia license plate number of AEY-7078. Anyone with information concerning Cromer's whereabouts is asked to contact the Staunton Police Department at (540) 332-3842.
