Dubai's leading start-up incubator, in5, has spotlighted the successes of its start-up community at Step Dubai 2025, the region's largest tech festival. As a catalyst for entrepreneurship and innovation, in5 highlighted key funding rounds and expansions that signal the growing maturity of Dubai's start-up ecosystem. Established in 2013 by TECOM Group PJSC, in5 has supported over 1,000 start-ups, collectively securing more than AED 7.8 billion in funding. Among its latest success stories is Namara Fintech, a Sharia-compliant micro-lending platform that has now graduated from in5 following a full acquisition. Similarly, Derq, an AI-powered intelligent transportation solutions provider, won the US Department of Transportation's Intersection Safety Challenge, securing AED 2.7 million for its real-time traffic management innovations.
