Hartford HealthCare hosts mass casualty simulation training
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — On Wednesday, Hartford HealthCare plans to host a mass casualty simulation with 47 live actors, challenging teams to respond to an explosion and secondary blast at the hospital. The exercise tests their ability to handle a range of critical injuries and emergency situations. Stephen Donahue, director of operations at Hartford HealthCare's Center for Education, Simulation, and Innovation, joined Good Morning Connecticut at 9 a.m. to discuss. Hartford HealthCare launches restaurant safety training program
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Safety is now on the menu at local restaurants, thanks to a new initiative from Hartford HealthCare. Their center for education, simulation and innovation — known as CESI — has launched a hands-on emergency response program called the Restaurant Safety Training.
