Two men riding electric bikes and dressed in dark clothing assaulted the victim before making off from the area. Mercy crews raced to scene and the man was rushed to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. Police are urging any witness to come contact them. Anyone with dash-cam footage could also assist in the investigation. Detective Constable Stephen Solomon said: 'Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around this time to contact us. 'We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything. In addition, there may have been passing vehicles with dash-cam footage so I would urge anyone that can assist to please come forward.' Elsewhere, a 39-year-old man was found badly injured after a 'stabbing' in Ayr. The incident happened at Braeside Road in the town on Tuesday, June 17 at around 10am. The victim was airlifted to Queen ELizabeth Hospital in Glasgow where he remains in a serious but stable condition. Attempted murder near St Mirren's stadium as cops hunt for 'suspects on e-bikes'
The incident happened at a junction beside the The SMISA Stadium in Paisley. Police are probing an attempted murder after two men on e-bikes attacked the victim in a Scots town. The incident happened around 4.45pm on Thursday, 19 June, on Murray Street, close to the junction with Greenhills Road in Paisley. Cops say two men riding e-bikes, dressed in dark clothing, approached a 36-year-old man and assaulted him, before fleeing from the scene. Emergency services attended and the man was rushed to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. Police Scotland urge anyone who was in the area to come forward and appealed to drivers who may have dash-cam footage.
