Capital DJ reveals she's given birth to a baby girl and shares tot's sweet name in gushing post after fans spot her missing from Summertime Ball

Capital Radio's Aimee Vivian announced she'd welcomed her first child, a baby girl with husband Steve Carter on Sunday. The daytime DJ, 34, took to Instagram with the good news after fans spotted her missing from the annual Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium. Aimee shared a gorgeous snap of herself cradling the tot who was wrapped in a blanket stitched with her name 'Charli' and penned: 'Charli Carter. The girl who stole my heart forever'. Hours earlier Aimee also posted a throwback from last year's Summertime Ball and said: 'Wishing my @capitalofficial & all of you an amazing Summertime ball day' 'Sad to miss it but as you might of guessed by my silence on here, our new little addition has arrived so we have very much been in our newborn love bubble'. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She continued: 'Swapping backstage at Wembley for watching on YouTube with milk in one hand and a nappy in the other this year. Update on baby soon'. Aimee Vivian has been a DJ at Capital FM since 2015, hosting the afternoon show from Monday to Saturday. It comes after Rita Ora stormed the stage alongside a surprise performance from JLS at Capital's Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. The songstress, 34, topped the star-studded bill alongside Jade Thirlwall, Will Smith and Jessie J as she belted out her biggest hits. Rita looked every inch the pop star for her steamy set, in a skimpy leather co-ord with tiny hot pants and revealing crop top that showcased her jaw-dropping figure. She completed the look with knee-high leather boots as she strutted her stuff in front of the 80,000 crowd. Meanwhile JLS sent the crowd wild with their shock performance as Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, Marvin Humes, and JB Gill, following in the footsteps of previous surprise appearances from Craig David and Perrie Edwards. Dressed in trendy denim looks they sang medley of JLS classics, including Club is Alive, She Makes Me Wanna, Beat Again and Everybody in Love. She said: Wishing my @capitalofficial & all of you an amazing Summertime ball day. Sad to miss it but as you might of guessed by my silence on here, our new little addition has arrived' Will Smith and Jade Thirlwall were also apart of the star-studded line up Speaking about the surprise performance, the band said: 'It's been 16 years since our first Capital's Summertime Ball and there was no better way to return than surprising fans with our Barclaycard Out of the Blue performance!' 'We love sharing the stage together and to be at such an iconic venue once again was just incredible! Hearing 80,000 people singing back every word to us was a moment we'll never forget'. Elsewhere Fresh Prince of Bel Air star Will, 56, brought his son Jaden, 26, on stage during his high-energy set to mark Father's Day. The rapper sent the crowd into a frenzy when he welcomed Jaden, who is also an established artist, could be heard joking: 'I'm only joining cause it's Father's Day.' Will then told the audience: 'Ladies and gentleman, can you get yourselves up for a second and say hi'. 'Ladies and gentleman, this is my son Jaden. It's a very good time to say I love you.' The proud dad continued: 'Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there, that's my guy right there.' Will then encouraged the crowd to turn to their kids and tell them they love them, asking them also to embrace for a hug.
