This year's Give BIG Green Bay starts Wednesday with a day of events. Here's what to know.
GREEN BAY - Give BIG Green Bay, the annual 24-hour nonprofit fundraising event hosted by the Green Bay Packers Foundation and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, begins at noon Wednesday with a full day of community events.
Here's what to know about the event.
Each year, Give BIG Green Bay selects 50 Brown County nonprofits to participate in a 24-hour crowdfunding event. Since the program began in 2018, it has donated over $13.5 million to nonprofits throughout the county.
From noon Feb. 19 until noon Feb. 20, anyone can donate to participating nonprofits or to the event's match fund to benefit all of the organizations. At the end of the event, each nonprofit receives the amount donated directly to them and a proportionate share of the matching funds.
