Madame Tussauds London unveils wax sculpture of a Greggs Sausage Roll
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Madame Tussauds London (@madametussauds) May 29 (UPI) -- Famed wax museum Madame Tussauds London unveiled its latest recreation of one of Britain's most beloved icons: a sausage roll from bakery chain Greggs. The museum showcased the Greggs Sausage Roll wax sculpture in the run-up to National Sausage Roll Day, which falls on June 5. "For a limited time only, the beloved British classic has secured a top spot in our Baker Street attraction's Culture Capital Zone alongside the likes of Sir David Attenborough, Stormzy and William Shakespeare," Madame Tussauds said in a news release. The Culture Capital Zone is "dedicated to those who've helped shape the landscape of British culture; from trailblazing artists to political giants and now, the golden, flakey pastry icon of British cuisine," the museum said. The Greggs Sausage Roll is a savory treat made by wrapping a sausage in puff pastry and baking it. "We're absolutely thrilled that Madame Tussauds London has chosen to honor the Greggs Sausage Roll in such a unique and iconic way," Greggs CEO Rosin Currie said. "It's a true celebration of a national favorite, and we couldn't think of a more fitting tribute in the lead-up to National Sausage Roll Day. Seeing our Sausage Roll receive the celebrity treatment is a proud and slightly surreal moment for all of us at Greggs."

We're just a week away from the return of ITV2's Love Island (literally counting down the days) and it seems the sh0w's host Maya Jama has already coupled up for the summer, as she's just gone Instagram official with footballer Ruben Dias. The couple have been rumoured for months, and now Maya has officially revealed tehy are together after she shared a cute picture of them on a yacht together, sailing around Italy. Oh the life of a Love Island host. See the picture here (scroll to the end): This isn't the first time Maya has dated a fellow celeb, in fact she's had one or two famous exes. Curious to know more about Maya's own coupling up history? Well here's her full relationship timeline. Maya met Stormzy in October 2014 at Red Bull's Culture Clash, and began dating early on in the following year. They were literally everyone's favourite celebrity couple so it was beyond surprising and devastating for fans when the pair split in 2019. At the time a reason wasn't given for the split, but three years later, while appearing on Louis Theroux's podcast, Stormzy opened up about the breakup, calling it the "biggest mistake". He told Theroux: "My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man. It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you. "That's probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn't it? Away from someone passing away, that's the biggest loss you can have." A few months later Maya also opened about their relationship, reflecting in an interview with The Sunday Times, how young they were when they got together. "We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers. I was starting at MTV. He'd not even released a single at that point. We were just little babies. "I'm not naive to the fact that when you are a woman in the industry, most of the things that people want to talk about are your relationships. It's different for men. I'd seen that happen to other people. I don't think either of us knew it was going to be such a big thing." A year after her breakup from Stormzy, Maya was spotted out and about with NBA player Ben Simmons. They began dating in the summer of 2021 and were pictured attending Wimbledon together. At one point in their relationship Maya moved over to the US to be with Ben, and the couple got engaged over Christmas 2021. However, with both their careers in full swing they struggled to see each other and the long distance was said to create an issue and so the couple broke off their engagement in September 2022. We all remember where we were when these two reconciled. It was the summer of 2023 and there were rumours flying around that Maya and Stormzy were back together after they were spotted at All Points East. They were then spotted on holiday in Greece together going on a stroll and holding hands. The following year they were spotted at Glastonbury and the Silverstone Grand Prix in July 2024. However, just a few weeks later the couple announced they had ended their relationship once agin and released a joint statement on Instagram. The pair said how much they cared for each other and had really tried to make their relationship work a second time around but ultimately it just wasn't meant to be. They clarified they had a lot of love for each other and would always support each other. See the full breakup statement here: Maya is said to have meet Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias, who is originally from Portugal, while attending the EMA's in Manchester in November in 2024. The pair followed each on Instagram and there's since been a lot of speculation that they are dating. Maya was spotted at one of Ruben's football matches in March and a month later their relationship was all but confirmed when they were spotted kissing while attending KSI's Baller League football event at Copper Box Arena. And then earlier this week Maya made their relationship Instagram official when she shared a video of Ruben putting suncream on himself, while on board a yacht and captioned it "perv cam". Yesterday [29 May] she also shared a number of pictures from what appears to be the couple's trip around Italy, including one photo of the pair together on a yacht. And Ruben has also not been shy about declaring the couple's love on social media. Earlier this week he posted a number of pics on Instagram about the end of the football season and included one of Maya looking unreal at a restaurant. MAYA Jama has shared her first loved up snap with new man Ruben Dias. The Love Island host, 30, and Manchester City hunk Ruben, 28, are currently enjoying a break in Italy together before she gets to work on the dating show. 6 6 6 6 And it seems things are going very well between them as Maya decided to share a picture of them cuddling aboard their luxury yacht. Posting images from their love boat, Maya wrote: 'Amalfi coasting.' In the other pictures, Maya is seen showing off her incredible figure in a thong bikini. There is also a video, seemingly taken by Ruben, which sees her diving into the water as he looks on. Her fans rushed to comment on the intimate post, telling her how happy she looked with Ruben. The pair have been dating since last year with the relationship seemingly hotting up over the past few weeks. Both Maya and Ruben have posted pictures of each other separately but fans had been waiting to see them together. And earlier in the week, Maya uploaded a short clip and wrote: "perv cam," as Ruben can be seen rubbing sun tan lotion on his body while in swimming shorts.
