For Sanjana Sanghi fashion is a form of self-expression and a form of art which reflects your state of mind. She was recently seen at a fashion show spotting a Story Brand spring summer collection. Talking about the most well-dressed Bollywood actress whose sense of style she liked, she mentioned it was Kareena Kapoor Khan for her authenticity. Fashion Police What is fashion according to you? Honestly, fashion for me, and I've heard actors that I've looked up to my whole life say this, and I've only come to understand it now, is that fashion is a form of expression. I think fashion is art, and I think that it really reflects your state of mind. When you're feeling upbeat and you're feeling good, I feel like we all feel like putting in that extra effort. We wear things that we know, make us feel our best, look our best, and as long as it's authentic to who we are, I think fashion is an extension of self-expression. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD What is your view on fashion versus style? It's art, and that's what makes it so special. In fashion versus style, I would say, you know, I feel like if your style is, again, authentically your own, that becomes fashionable. So I don't quite understand the clear difference between the two, but for me, as long as we're being really true to ourselves that's what matters. How important for you is it to be a conscious consumer? We live in a world where over-consumption has just become the norm, and generations after us will face the repercussions, and they're only going to get worse. So if we can try to do that a little bit from our end to just, you know, add to trying to save the future and care about the future generations, being a conscious consumer really goes a long way in that journey, and that's something that I had spoken of at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. When we speak about growth, when we speak about development, and we speak about a brighter future, conscious consumerism is a big part of that and I hope that we're all able to somehow weave it into all of our lives.
