Michael Saylor's orange tie is on sale and is 99.99% cheaper than Bitcoin originally appeared on TheStreet.
Strategy (Nasdaq: MSTR), formerly MicroStrategy, co-founder and executive chairman Michael Saylor is among the most popular Bitcoin advocates in the corporate world.
It's hardly surprising, given his firm began acquiring Bitcoin as early as 2020 and is today the world's largest public corporate holder of the king coin.
Strategy holds 580,955 BTC worth $61 billion at the time of writing.
This year, Saylor has also been teasing his sartorial side, with a particular liking for the orange tie. He wore an orange tie even when he visited Washington, D.C., in January.
This isn't incidental, as Saylor is orange-pilled.
In the superhit "The Matrix" film franchise, 'red-pilled' means waking up to a hidden or unconscious truth.
In crypto slang, "orange-pilled" means becoming aware of the transformative realization about Bitcoin's value.
Saylor is not only orange-pilled, he is the high priest of the orange pill movement. He advocates for widespread adoption of Bitcoin by governments and corporations and believes that the cryptocurrency can address economic problems of the future.
The Strategy boss's orange-pilled movement took a dramatic step further as his firm, Strategy, recently launched an orange-pilled tie.
Priced at $80, the "Strategy Bitcoin Tie" is an orange-colored necktie that is available for sale on the official company website.
Other products such as bow ties, tees, jackets, socks, handkerchiefs, etc. are also available on the website.
The Bitcoin-focused merchandise is part of the company's publicity campaign to popularize the cryptocurrency among retail users.
As per Kraken's price feed, Bitcoin was trading at $105,021.15 at press time.
