WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Local high school students were able to show off their artistic skills for all of the north country to see.
Now through to May 14 is the annual Tri-County Art Show at the Dulles State Office Building in Watertown. This art show has 23 schools from Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties.

During this exhibition, the building's first floor turns into a vibrant gallery filled to the brim with works made by talented young artists.
Over 1,000 works of art from grades kindergarten through 12th grade are featured in this year's show, and awards adding up to over $3,000 are given to a select few.
Lowville senior Logan Yarina, who's work of Strawberry Dreams finished second place said that 'Being selected for the show felt like winning the lottery. To know that someone else was recognizing my hard work made all the small frustrations of painting worth it.'
The art show is truly a testament to the dedication of young students in our local area, as well as the communities continuous support of talented artists. From the smallest sculpture, to the largest tapestry— they're all displayed together for the community to enjoy.
