Naga Munchetty, the host of BBC Breakfast, has come under fire over allegations of bullying a junior. She has also been reprimanded for 'inappropriate' off-air behaviour. These incidents span across the BBC Breakfast studio and Studio Live 5 as per a report by The Sun. Naga Munchetty comes from a family of Indian origin and has been associated with the TV world for quite a while. Who is Naga Munchetty? 5 things to know about the BBC personality Naga Munchetty was born to an Indian mother from Tamil Nadu in London in 1975. Her father, who is from Maurius, too is of Indian descent. Nag Munchetty began her TV career as a reporter for Reuters Financial Television. She also worked CNBC Europe in the early years of her career. Munchetty eventually rose to fame when she moved to BBC and started hosting BBC Breakfast. In 2018, she interviewed David Attenborough for the show. The interaction went viral as she asked the writer and biologist, who was there to talk about the Big Butterfly Count Event, unrelated questions about the royal family. According to reports, Munchetty used explicit slang related to a sexual act and then directed the comment to a colleague. The incident, which occurred three years ago, is said to have left those present in a state of shock. In a separate incident, last year, she allegedly bullied a junior and accused her of stealing without presenting concrete evidence.
